Massage is a manual soft tissue technique used to help reduce pain and muscle tension, improve joint mobility, increase circulation and promote tissue healing. Massage also can decrease the effects of anxiety or depression, promote better sleep, improve focus and concentration, and reduce stress levels.

There are multiple massage techniques, including Swedish relaxation, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point release and sports massage. No matter what method you go with, they all work towards muscle relaxation, promote tissue healing and reduce pain.
