Dr. Arden McMahon completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Alberta, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She continued her education, attending chiropractic school in Toronto at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. While in Toronto, she discovered a passion for treating all types of patients; from athletes to office workers, children to seniors, and everyone in between. Arden finds most satisfaction from working hands on with people and helping them get back to doing what they love.
Arden has seen a chiropractor since the age of 2 years old, but became interested in the career as a teenager dealing with a shoulder injury. Arden was a synchronized swimmer competing at both national and international levels. She attributes her ability to stay in the sport as long as she did to the treatment and support of her chiropractors.
Arden is excited to start her career and continue her learning at breathe health and performance. She was able to complete her preceptorship under the supervision of Dr. Pickering, where she found a like minded group of people, who equally love snacks and furthering their knowledge. She describes herself as a “permanent student” with an ever-growing list of courses she wants to take and a desire to learn from each patient she works with. Arden is currently trained in chiropractic manipulation and mobilization techniques, soft tissue therapy, and acupuncture.
